The San Antonio Socialista is both a lifestyle blog and Marketing Consulting business. My passion in life is cultivating connections to generate growth for individuals and businesses, offering my creative insight to take businesses to the next level and inspiring creative individuals to become entrepreneurs.

I was born and raised in the Southside of San Antonio. I attended Providence High School and graduated with my Bachelors in Business Administration in 2005. I am a mother of 2 young daughters, and wife to my husband of 11 years, Jesse Garcia who is an Electrical & Software Engineer.

I worked through college as a Manager for 55 Driving School. After college I worked for a Startup company called BioLustre and later in life in the corporate world for Staples Business Advantage in Sales & Marketing for over 5 years. I was also the Marketing Chair for Mother’s Against Drunk Driving in 2014.

I started the San Antonio Socialista blog to share my love for local food and events and to promote small businesses I supported. It has since grown into a platform to inspire individuals to live their best life in San Antonio while exploring what our city has to offer and making connections to help my clients grow.

Hey, Luisa! I’m an artist who is moving to SA in a couple of weeks and trying to plug in to the city and all the cool things it has to offer. I’m so happy I found your blog! Love it!

How exciting! Make sure to find me on Facebook or email me at thesanantoniosocialista@gmail.com when you get into town so we can have lunch. I actually just collaborated with the publisher of a new art magazine in SA so we can connect you in!

I am visiting this weekend with my 9 year old daughter. We are staying on the RiverWalk and will check out the Children’s Museum and the Alamo. Thinking of Osteria Il Sogno for breakfast and Feast for dinner. Other ideas? Thank you!
