Introducing: Save A Life San Antonio

Save A Life San Antonio

Save A Life San Antonio (aka SALSA) has launched and is in full force out to save lives in our community. This organization was founded by the CEO Darrel McKay. SALSA, how fitting for our spicy city is composed of a life saving team including Marcus Vigil, Chief of Administration & Marketing; Joe A. Gonzales, Chief of Operations; Michael Baker, Chief of Training & Policy; Edgar Castillo, Chief of Education & Standards. These fine men are active EMT’s who see a need to bring awareness and education to the community and workplaces on the importance of recognizing life threatening conditions and providing life-saving skills.

SALSA was recently recognized on Great Day SA. Darrell McKay was nominated as an Inspiration 4 Life Great Day SA Local Hero by myself Luisa Garcia and was recognized by the founder of Inspiration 4 Life, Rita Hernandez. They were also highlighted  as a new and vital organization in our community at the Inspired Networking 2013 Fiesta Kick-Off Mixer at Azuca Restaurant. This organization is off to a successful start and has many supporters engaged in their mission.

SALSA is a unique organization in our city providing low cost CPR & First Aid classes all of which can be explained at their website www.SaveALifeSanAntonio.org. This team is caring, professional, educated, driven and genuinely compassionate about saving lives. I personally am privileged to be related to Marcus Vigil who I have collaborated with to help market this organization. I am a huge fan of SALSA and support their mission and the importance of their life saving impact they have on our city of San Antonio.
